Group Therapy

In Group Psychotherapy people are selected for a specific group to result in maximum therapeutic benefit for them and the Group. This allows growth in one’s individual identity and, as a member of something larger (Group Identity). The other members of the group may serve as a source of insight and support, thus reinforcing the idea that each individual is not alone in their environment. I as the group therapist facilitate each meeting. Group therapy offers a sense of warmth, community and challenge. This still adheres to the same confidentiality that individual therapy offers. Group therapy allows members to explore their relationships with each other as they unfold in the present moment.
